But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
Prayer is often taken for granted. It can become vague or “other worldly.” Yet of all the things the disciples observed Jesus doing, one thing impacted their lives like nothing else. They saw Him praying.
As they witnessed the results of His prayers to His Father, they craved that same spiritual strength and heavenly intimacy. “Teach us to pray,” they requested… and He did. Prayer is the believer’s lifeline to God and it’s a powerful connection! So find your “inner room”, “shut your door,” and pray to your Heavenly Father. He’s waiting there just for you.
