"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." - JAMES 1:5

Athena’s statue once towered over Athens’ Acropolis, representing knowledge in the city of Aristotle, Plato, Zeno and other giants of thought in the ancient capital of philosophy. Athena is still with us today in the subtle worship of “education,” the adoration of “knowledge.” Knowledge is quantitative, and wisdom is qualitative. In a highly technological age, knowledge becomes the goal for experts building machines that will pack in more and more data.

Without wisdom, knowledge leads to chaos and disaster. We should never seek knowledge without first asking God for wisdom to know how to use the data.
