“And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased.’” - LUKE 2:13-14

When a baby is born, the parents often send out cards to announce the birth of their child. When Jesus was born, God Himself sent an explosion of angels to announce the birth. Luke tells us that a multitude of the heavenly host praised God for the gift of Jesus. How many angels make up a multitude? I don’t know, but I like to picture the heavens literally filled with angels singing to those shepherds. What did they say? They said, ‘Glory to God in the highest.’ They worshiped God. That is how we should respond to the announcement of God’s good news.

When you worship, you’d be amazed how peace comes into your life. Whatever the problem or difficulty, worship reminds us that it’s not about us. It’s about Him, and when we focus on Him our natural response will be praise and adoration for His perfect gift to us.
