Describe the Indescribable
"Declare to the house of Israel all that you see."Ezekiel 40:4
The prophet Ezekiel was given the almost impossible task of describing the indescribable visions God revealed to him. We may feel the same way Ezekiel did when we seek to describe our experience with God and with Jesus Christ. You may have had a dramatic salvation experience like the Apostle Paul, or you may have had a quiet experience, but no one can deny the power of your profession of faith.
Whether your story is dramatic or simple, sharing what Christ has done for you is what God has called you to do. It is the story of God taking something old and making it new. And when we run out of words to describe that experience, we may have to do what Paul did in 2 CORINTHIANS and simply declare, “But thanks be to God for His indescribable gift.”
