When I was growing up in Mississippi, my dad worked for a company that helped build those tall steel electrical towers you see running through the countryside. This was the result of the Rural Electrification Act Congress had passed for the purpose of taking electricity into rural areas. Just imagine the thrill of a family as they flipped the switch for the first time! According to our verse, God offers a Spiritual Electrification Act in Jesus Christ.
To all who receive Him as Savior, His Holy Spirit turns on the light of their lives. If Christ is the light of your life, you can walk into each “room”, or each stage, knowing the light will come on in that area just when you need it. You just need to flip the switch!
