What does it require for us to develop the mind of Christ?

One thing that is essential is that we empty ourselves. When a glass is full, you can’t put anything in it until you pour out what’s in that glass. For us, that means we may need to change our agendas and our schedules, and let go of some good things, some worthy things, in order to get serious about the things of God – which are the only things that will last forever.

To develop His mind, we begin by emptying ourselves. Only then can He fill us with Himself, and give us the capacity to be like Him.
