The Real Reason

People reject Jesus for many reasons. Perhaps they are afraid of the unknown, or they think Christianity is too narrow, or that all Christians are hypocrites. But primarily people reject Jesus for moral reasons. They are addicted to selfishness, and they are unwilling to give Jesus jurisdiction over their lives. They realize that Christianity is not a placid little thing; it is alive and dangerous because Jesus makes a claim over our lives and over everything we do.

But, let me ask you something. Do you know how many people who – with candid honesty – genuinely seek God in Jesus Christ, what percentage of them find Him? The answer: one hundred percent! Because God seeks us and looks for us a lot harder and with greater intensity than we can even imagine. When you seek the true truth of who God is in Jesus Christ, you will find it – every time.
