Who are you?

May 30, 2019
“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” - MATTHEW 5:16

When I left home for college, my dad said to me, “Son, remember who you are.” I must confess I snickered at his advice. But during the next few years, in moments of tension, pressure, and temptation, I would hear his voice saying, “Remember who you are.” Although I was far from home, I never forgot my upbringing. When we remember who we are, we know what to do and how to live. When we forget, we become uncertain of what is right and are easily swayed by the world.

Who are you? If you are a Christian, Jesus says you are the light of the world, created and designed for good works to glorify the Heavenly Father. So make sure to let who you are affect all of your choices and actions today. Let your light shine!
