Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up?

We have plenty of “snapshots” of Jesus from plays, movies, literature, art, and personal opinion. In fact today, one might have to ask, “Will the real Jesus, please stand up?” Who is Jesus? Jesus asked His disciples this same question… and He’s asking each of His followers today: “Who do you say I am?” Peter rightly answered, “You’re the Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus said, “That’s it! You’ve got it!”

Don’t let others define for you the identity of Jesus Christ. Search the Bible. Ask questions. Pray for understanding. But find out for yourself. Because it’s one thing to know who Jesus is, it’s another thing altogether to know Jesus. “Who do you say I am?” Your answer to Jesus’ question will matter forever and ever!
