Is Christmas or Easter More Important
Which is more important, Christmas or Easter?
Without Christmas, there would never be an Easter. Christmas is when God put on human flesh and came and lived among us.
But we can't have Christmas alone because the proof, the validity, the tangible evidence that this was indeed God in human flesh, yet divine at the same time is fulfilled at Easter.
When Jesus died, everybody said God is dead. No. The third day the Father raised Jesus from the dead and gave him his Easter body, that eternal body that he could wear and use all the way through eternity. And that is what we have.
Old things are passed away. Now, in Christ, we have a body built for eternity like the resurrected body of Jesus Christ. The incarnation and birth of Jesus is made valid and true historical truth because Jesus rose from the dead at Easter, promising that all of us who are in Christ will have the identical experience.
