A Fabulous Invitation

"And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost."Revelation 22:17
What is the requirement mentioned here? Do you have to be intelligent? Do you have to come from a good family, or dress in a certain way? No. To be saved, you have to be thirsty. Isaiah said, “Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters.” Jesus told the woman at the well that He would give her water to drink that would keep her from ever thirsting again. So, that is where Life, true life, abundant life – begins
Are you thirsty? That is all that is required, because the Holy Spirit creates that hunger and thirst for a new life and for righteousness. The invitation simply says, “Come on in if you’re thirsty. And I will give you water – the water of life.” What a beautiful invitation. A fabulous invitation.
