Cooperating with the thief

September 10, 2018
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.” - JOHN 10:10

It may be smart to hand over your purse or wallet to a gun-toting thief, but sheer stupidity to cooperate with a scammer! “Thief,” in JOHN 10:10, is klepto, meaning stealth thievery. The devil doesn’t usually commit armed robbery, but uses “schemes.” (EPHESIANS 6:11) This thief wants to rob you of physical life. He is not only a robber, but a murderer also. (JOHN 8:44) You are born with purpose from God, and if the devil can kill you, your ministry is terminated.

With you out of the way, he’s eliminated a key person who can reach family, neighbors and friends for God. The devil will try to con the life out of you by tempting you to neglect your physical health. Overeating, lack of exercise and other heart-killing “pleasures” are in his bag of tricks to murder you and terminate your purpose. Take care of yourself. You are important or God wouldn’t have put you here. Don’t fall for the scam!

Repent if you are neglecting your physical health, and commit to a healthy lifestyle.
