I have always liked the word “serendipity.” It was coined from a Persian fairytale in which three princes of Serendip – a fictitious kingdom – traveled all over looking for things. And what they found had even greater value than what they were seeking.
So, serendipity basically means looking for one thing and finding something of infinitely more value. The Kingdom of Heaven is like that.
When Christ comes into your life and you become a Kingdom citizen, you begin to experience serendipities beyond measure. Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness – and all these things (these serendipities) will be added to you.
