"He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!” - MATTHEW 16:15-16
It was during a break with His disciples at Caesarea Philippi that Jesus asked the question, “Who do people say that I am?”
As they were answering, He asked a second, more personal question, “But who do you say that I am?”
The real issue for Jesus is never who others say He is – it’s always who you and who I say He is. It’s the most important question we’ll ever be asked, and our answer has eternal ramifications.
How would you answer Jesus? He’s asking.
