Hyperseeing

January 11, 2019
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren… - ROMANS 8:28-29

There is a term used in both art and mathematics. It’s the word ‘Hyperseeing’, which is being able to see something from multiple viewpoints and dimensions. The prefix ‘hyper’ means over, beyond, or above. In art, therefore, Hyperseeing would be used to describe a sculptor’s ability to look at a rock and see ‘over, beyond, or above’ the rough stone to the finished form of the image he wants to create.

God practices Hyperseeing when He looks at you and me and sees Christ in us. Throughout our lifetimes, God chips away the extraneous things, working all things together for our good, in order to conform us to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Our God is not only Hyperseeing, He is all-seeing! He sees over, under, above, below, and beyond, even into eternity. And we are His workmanship – His Masterpiece!
