In the state of Texas, to hear about someone who has the cattle on a thousand hills gets attention! But what is God really saying here?

Although the Israelites were faithfully bringing their sacrifices to God He recognized they were merely going through the motions. In essence, He told them “I don’t need your sacrificial animals. All animals are Mine!”

What God wanted was their hearts. If we’re not careful, we can find ourselves going through the motions just like the Israelites.

Ask God to give you a heart for Him, and then give it right back to Him in your heartfelt worship.
