Mute Guard Dogs?

I recently came across a piece of Scripture that made me sit up and take notice. Here it is:
His watchmen are blind, all of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark.Isaiah 56:10
God’s people back in Isaiah’s day were in grave danger. But those who were supposed to be on watch were failing in a big way—like guard dogs unable to bark!
Far too many of God’s people today are guilty of the exact same thing. Right now, there’s a war raging for people’s minds, for their souls… for our nation—and we’re called to sound the alarm. Friend, we must learn to bark—to speak up for truth in a culture that promotes lies!
The only sure way for God’s people to do that is by standing firm in His Word. That’s why I’m so thankful for your prayers and support, which enable so many men and women to know the life-changing power of the proven truth of God’s Word.
