Doubting in good company

Whatever you’re feeling about God right now, you can be sure that He loves you and isn’t angry about any doubt you’re struggling with.

The Bible is full of stories about people doubting God in some way.

Just look at how David wrote psalms in which he begged to know why God had abandoned him. Sarah doubted God’s promise for her so deeply that she laughed out loud. Or look at how Peter began walking on water, but then began to doubt and sink even while looking straight at Jesus!

But God never left David. He kept His promise to Sarah. And He saved Peter from drowning.

Don’t let some little doubt take over and throw your faith out the window. Doubt can be scary, but you can be confident that God won’t abandon you.
