Grasp This Goodness

We want to share with you one sentence that’s so powerful, it contains all the basic doctrines of our faith inside. If you can grasp this one sentence, it will radically transform your life:
Christ became what we are, so we could become what He is.
God, the creator of the universe, became what you are—human. Small. Hungry. Tired. Weak. He understands your troubles, your temptations, and your trials.
And He did it so you could become what He is—holy. Perfect. Free to make the right decisions for the right reasons. As a child of God and an heir to His kingdom, you can live according to the Spirit and not to your sinful flesh.
Romans 8:16-17 tells us,
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.Romans 8:16-17
